Heugh Gun Battery Museum (pronounced "Yuff") - Hartlepool - a faithfully restored 19th century coastal defence battery - accessibility to some areas of the site are restricted. please see the access statement on their website
Ormesby Hall - Middlesbrough - 18th century mansion with park, gardens and a permanent model railway exhibition. Home of the Pennyman family for nearly 400 years, this classic Georgian mansion is accompanied by the Victorian kitchen and laundry in the old service wing and outside there are attractive gardens and estate walks - Mobility parking, 15 yards from Hall entrance, accessible toilet, Braille guide available, Baby-changing facilities
